Project Information

This project involved restoring exterior wooden wall panels after a poor staining job left them blotchy and uneven.

The previous application of stain/varnish had visible streaks, overlaps, and dull patches, making the panels look unprofessional. Because the panels were located on the third floor, the work required careful preparation and safe execution at height.

Steps we took:

  • Set up safe access to the third-floor panels for sanding and refinishing
  • Sanded all panels back to bare wood, removing blotchy stain and surface imperfections
  • Prepared the surface with fine sanding for even absorption of new stain
  • Applied two coats of high-quality wood stain, ensuring a consistent finish across all panels
  • Protected the surface for durability and resistance to weather conditions

The result is a uniform, rich wood finish that enhances the natural beauty of the panels and provides long-lasting protection, completely transforming the appearance of the facade.
